FRCSP™ Fellow Registered Concrete Scanning Professional
FRCSP is the fellowship grade of the UKCSS register. It recognises individuals who have demonstrated substantial professional contribution, technical leadership, and long standing involvement within concrete scanning, associated non destructive testing, or related technical disciplines.
FRCSP is awarded through evidence based assessment and professional standing. Registration is not automatic and is not based solely on years in industry.
Who FRCSP is for:
- Highly experienced professionals with recognised technical standing
- Individuals contributing to industry development, guidance, standards, mentoring, research, or leadership
- Senior practitioners with a significant record of responsibility, influence, or specialist expertise within the sector
Minimum requirements to apply
Applicants must be able to evidence:
- Long term involvement within concrete scanning, associated NDT, structural investigation, or related technical disciplines
- Advanced professional responsibility and recognised technical competence
- Contribution toward industry practice, knowledge sharing, standards, mentoring, research, or leadership activities
- A substantial and defensible professional record within operational environments
Evidence is required
Applications must be supported by evidence. This may include professional portfolios, published work, project records, technical papers, employer or peer confirmation, presentations, qualifications, memberships, or other relevant supporting documentation.
Applications will be refused or deferred where sufficient evidence is not provided.
Relevant chartered status, certifications, memberships, or specialist qualifications should be declared where applicable.
What FRCSP represents:
FRCSP confirms recognition as a senior industry professional with significant technical experience and contribution relevant to the objectives and standards of UKCSS.
FRCSP does not override statutory duties, protected professional titles, or discipline specific legal responsibilities.
Fellows may from time to time be invited to support technical review activities, development discussions, mentoring, or future framework progression within UKCSS.
The initial payment fee covers review of submitted evidence and processing of application. Registration is subject to approval.
